Orbs of Glory is a quick little submission I threw together so I had something to enter in Phase 2 of the Make Something Unreal Contest. Players attempt to knock each other off a platform while in little balls. From a design standpoint it is terribly simplistic, the only reason I include it in this portfolio is because I really like the levels I made for it.
BB-Glowy
Really simple low poly arena. It was thrown together in about half an hour to be my test arena.

BB-Cavein
The idea behind this level was an open area inside a collapsed mine. With a big crack in the center of the map, and large pits on each side there are lots of opportunities to knock people in.

BB-City
I don’t know if it’s some sort of requirement for vehicle combat/demolition derby games, but they all have to have a rooftop level. I couldn’t break that trend.

I created this coming out of my World of Warcraft days. Kind of just a cartoony take on the standard cannon games. It was pretty fun to stretch my 2d muscles on it.

This was a level I created when applying for a Level Designer job at 5th Cell Media. It’s a pretty accurate 3d rendition of the starting village from their game “Drawn to Life”. All of the map’s art assets where either pulled from existing UT3 packages, or created using in-editor BSP brushes.
